Gloveside Progress: Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
Gloveside Progress is a skill-badge tracker for field hockey goalkeepers, run by Gloveside (Brisbane, Australia). Coaches record progress; parents or guardians are invited to view their own keeper's progress.
What we store
- Keeper details a coach enters: first name, date of birth (month and year), years playing, skill progress, badges and coach notes.
- Email addresses of the coach and of invited parents or guardians, used only to sign in.
- Short-lived sign-in codes (stored hashed) and session cookies, to keep you signed in.
How it is used
Only to run the service: showing progress to the coach and to parents linked to that keeper, and sending sign-in codes and invitations. We do not sell data, show ads, or share it with third parties. Parents can only see their own keeper; coach notes and contact details are never shown to parents.
Google user data
Sign-in emails are sent from the Gloveside Gmail account (goalieperform@gmail.com) using the Gmail API with the single permission "Send email on your behalf" (gmail.send). The app cannot read, list, or delete any mailbox content. It does not access the Google data of parents or other users.
Where it is kept
Data is stored in Cloudflare (D1 database in Oceania) and served over HTTPS. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Sessions last up to 30 days and can be ended by signing out.
Your choices
Parents or guardians can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data, and coaches can remove a keeper or a parent's access at any time inside the app. To request deletion, contact goalieperform@gmail.com.
